How can I help people?

One of the main purposes of Faith is to reach out to people who are in need.

Because Jesus has shown us his abundant love and has called us to share his love with others, we strive to ‘love our neighbors as ourselves’ in whatever ways we can.

Sometimes that means sending soccer balls to military chaplains in Iraq so that they can bring joy to children in a desperate land. Other times it means that we send a group
of families to Acuña, Mexico to build an entire house for a family of 8 very grateful, but very poor people. And,
closer to home, it means that we help supply local food pantries, government assistance agencies, and domestic violence shelters.
